60D would work, but the 7D would be better... also you are going to want longer the 200mm or 300mm..... look at the 400mm prime, or 100/400mm or the 150-500 sig.....you want reach with wildlife.... 60D'll be fine; unless she wants to specialize in birds in flight, where the 7D's AF system would certainly be a boost.
